Does acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture needles are extremely fine — many patients feel nothing more than a brief tingle or dull heaviness at the point, which is a normal sign the treatment is working.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition and how long you've had it. Acute issues often respond in 2–4 sessions; longer-standing conditions typically need a course of 6 or more. We review progress with you throughout.

What should I wear?

Loose, comfortable clothing is ideal so we can access points on your arms and lower legs. Gowns and towels are always available.

What happens at my first appointment?

We take a full health history covering your symptoms, sleep, digestion, energy and stress, examine your tongue and pulse, then carry out your first treatment and agree a plan.

Is it safe alongside my medication?

Acupuncture is generally safe alongside conventional treatment. Please tell us about any medication, pregnancy or medical condition so we can adapt your treatment.

How do I pay, and what if I need to cancel?

All prices are in GBP and payable at the clinic after treatment. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment.
